Our Editorial Standards
GenDance Wellness publishes practical, accessible information intended to help readers make informed decisions about wellness, movement, and related topics. Content is prepared by the GenDance Editorial Team according to the standards outlined below.
Useful and Original Writing
We aim to publish content that addresses readers’ questions directly and provides meaningful context, explanations, or practical guidance. Articles should offer original editorial value rather than merely repeating or lightly rewording information available elsewhere.
We do not publish content solely to attract search traffic. Each page should have a clear purpose and be useful to its intended audience.
Clarity and Accessibility
We use clear, natural language and organize information so readers can understand the main points without unnecessary complexity. Technical terms are explained when they are important to the topic.
Headings, lists, tables, and other formatting may be used to make detailed information easier to navigate. We distinguish general educational information from individualized professional or medical advice.
Reliable Sourcing
Factual claims should be supported by appropriate evidence. When sources are needed, we look for reliable materials relevant to the claim being made.
Where appropriate, we prefer primary and authoritative sources, including:
- Peer-reviewed research and original studies
- Government agencies and public health authorities
- Recognized academic and research institutions
- Professional organizations publishing within their established fields
- Official product documentation, policies, or regulatory records
Secondary sources may be used when they provide accurate context, explain complex material clearly, or point readers to the underlying evidence. Sources should be represented fairly and should not be cited as supporting conclusions they do not make.
Uncertainty and Limitations
Wellness information is not always conclusive. Research may be limited, conflicting, preliminary, or applicable only to particular populations or circumstances.
When uncertainty is important to understanding a topic, we disclose it rather than presenting an unsettled claim as established fact. We also aim to identify meaningful limitations in the available evidence and avoid guarantees about health, fitness, or wellness outcomes.
Corrections
Meaningful factual errors should be corrected when they are identified and verified. Corrections are intended to restore accuracy, not to obscure the original mistake.
Minor edits for grammar, formatting, readability, or style may be made without a correction notice. When a substantive correction materially changes the meaning or reliability of an article, an explanatory note may be added where appropriate.
Articles may also be revised when stronger evidence becomes available, source information changes, or clarification would improve accuracy. GenDance Wellness does not claim a fixed update schedule.
Authenticity and Editorial Integrity
GenDance Wellness does not permit fabricated authority or misrepresentation. In particular, we do not:
- Invent credentials, qualifications, professional roles, or affiliations
- Present fabricated personal experience as firsthand knowledge
- Claim that a product was personally tested when no such testing occurred
- Describe content as independently verified when no genuine verification process process took place
- Claim professional, expert, or medical review when no qualified reviewer performed that review
Any relevant firsthand testing, professional input, or editorial review should be described accurately and only when it actually occurred. Opinions, interpretations, and reported experiences should be clearly distinguished from verified facts.
Commercial Transparency
Commercial relationships should not be presented as independent evidence. When content includes a material affiliate, sponsorship, advertising, or similar relationship, that relationship should be disclosed clearly where relevant.
Compensation does not justify inaccurate claims, concealed limitations, or unsupported endorsements. Product information should distinguish manufacturer claims from conclusions supported by independent evidence.
Editorial Responsibility
The GenDance Editorial Team is responsible for applying this policy to GenDance Wellness content. Editorial decisions are guided by usefulness, accuracy, transparency, and respect for readers.
